What is the difference between Mill Finish and Powder Coating?

Mill finish is unfinished raw aluminum that comes direct from the extrusion process and is more susceptible to scratches and oxidation. Powder coating is a type of coating that is applied electrostatically and heat cured to create a hard durable finish that is tougher than conventional paint.
